Julianne Barns Davis
Julianne Davis, 24, is the daughter of co-owner Molly Barns, and has lived in Dallas her whole life. Julianne graduated from Highland Park High School in 2012. After graduating high school, Julianne took a huge leap of faith into the world of adulthood and traveled an impressive two miles away from home to attend SMU. As a responsible cat lover, Julianne was a very active volunteer with the Feral Cat Program at SMU, and she was also a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She began her early college career as a Voice Performance major in the Meadows School of the Arts. After a year of daily 8 a.m. classes, Julianne learned that she prefers to sleep in, and also that a career in opera was not for her. To be honest, she believes that in a perfect world, nothing would ever start earlier than 12 p.m. In 2015, she proudly graduated in three years with a B.A. in Psychology.
Julianne has many hobbies, including her 24-pound Maine Coon cat, Louis. Julianne is a big fan of Mexican food, high heels, and happy hour. Her drink of choice is Bacardi, and she can sing "Defying Gravity" like it's her job. In January 2018, Julianne married the love of her life, Josh Davis, in New Orleans.
Molly Martindale Barns
Molly Barns is a life long Dallas resident. Upon graduating from Highland Park High School, she attended The University of Oklahoma, where she majored in Journalism-Radio/TV/Film. She was an active member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, and a proud member of the SAE Little Sis Drinking Team. Cheers.
After graduation, Molly returned to Dallas and started working in advertising. Shortly after, she was introduced to fellow Highland Park High School graduate, and now husband of 24 years, John Barns. Molly soon went on to get her Masters in Secondary and Higher Education from Texas A&M University. She returned to her roots once again, and began teaching at McCulloch Middle School in HPISD. The students loved her! Or so she says.
Molly and John have two children: Julianne (24) and William (23). In 1996, she opened Unmistakably Molly in Snider Plaza, where it was a thriving business. After 17 years, Molly decided to close Unmistakably Molly when Julianne graduated high school, in 2012.
Molly loves arts and crafts, ocean breezes, and anything with vodka. She is proud of her extensive shoe collection, and enjoys adding to it frequently. Molly is also a huge fan of Bachelor Nation.
Molly is very excited about resurrecting Unmistakably Molly and working alongside her new Co-Owner, and daughter, Julianne Davis.
